Dear Mirror Sailors

The 2013 MSC SAS Youth Nationals which will be held at Henley Midmar Yacht Club, Midmar Dam, KZN, from the 14th to the 20th December 2013 is coming up fast now!! The Youth Nationals website is now up and running, and can be accessed atwww.youthnationals.co.za

At the 2012 Youth Nationals held at Sedgefield there were 11 Mirrors competing and VERY close and competitive racing, with just 1 point separating the top 3 boats. With the celebration of 50 years since the Mirror was first produced, with the first African Mirror World Champions being crowned in August this year (Ryan and Michaela Robinson), the hosting of the 2015 World Championships in South Africa (Theewaters, January 2015) and the launch of the GRP Mirror built in RSA (expected 13th October), we are expecting a revival of interest in the class and look forward to many boats entering the 2013 Youth Nationals. If you know of people who are keen on sailing (skippering or crewing), looking for boats, crew, etc, please contact us and we will assist.

Bruce Muller is co-ordinating the Mirror Class at the 2013 Youth Nationals. For more information on the, his contact details arebmuller@capewire.co.za or 082 550 0373.

Please enter on line, via the website, but don’t forget to pay your entry fee when you put in your online entry!! The late entry fee will be applicable from the end of November.

Please pass this information on to anyone else you know who might want to come and sail the Youth Nationals – you can also share it with your friends on
